Nottingham Soroptimist Trust is a Registered Charity launched in January 2010 providing training, education and financial hardship grants for women and girls living or working in Nottinghamshire.

The Trust is an independent body which was established with funds from the Soroptimist Club of Nottingham Housing Association. It is managed by a board of Trustees, the majority of whom are Soroptimists, who work on a voluntary basis.

The Charity's funds are invested in an appropriate portfolio of investments. Income from the investments is used to further the objectives of the Trust through an award process in accordance with the key objectives of the Charity.

Trustees will normally consider applications four times a year in January, April, July and October. The deadline for receipt of applications is the last day of the previous month.

It is important to read and fully complete the application form. Applications cannot be processed without signatures (electronic signatures accepted) from the applicant and referee, and also without an attached written reference from an appropriate professional person. Please note that we cannot help with the completion of the form. A friend, colleague or your referee may be able to do this.

Our funds are limited and so we are not able to give a grant to every applicant, even if all criteria are met. We cannot enter into any correspondence regarding the Trustees' decisions on grants (as stated in our Charitable Objects).
